Coronavirus: local waste collection news 30/03/20

Due to the developing situation and latest advice regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus), waste services are currently operating with a reduced number of staff across Chiltern, Wycombe and South Bucks.

We have put together some advice for residents, which we would be very grateful if you could share throughout your community networks.

We are pleased to confirm that the recycling collection service has been reinstated in Chiltern and Wycombe from Monday 30th March.  However, we will be unable to return for any collections that were due last week.

To enable recycling collections, the weekly food waste collection service is temporarily suspended; residents should dispose of their food waste in their general rubbish bin as a temporary measure.

Garden waste is still suspended in Chiltern and Wycombe and in South Bucks.

The most up to date information is available on the Council’s websites and social media. However, we would be extremely grateful if you could share this information with friends, family and/or colleagues who may not have easy access to our webpages.
