St.John’s Bellingdon – 4th July 2021

Dear all

Here are the details for the service for Sunday 4th July – for St John’s Bellingdon.

Our Psalm is Psalm 86. The readings are 2 Corinthians 12:2-10 and Mark 6:1-13 and they are read by Terry with the intercessions led by Jill Dwight.

It is on the Parish YouTube channel and this link should take you there

As usual the service is available after 09.45 on Sunday.

The format is the same as the last few weeks to fit in with the service in the church building. The contents of the recorded service and the one in the church are basically the same and a copy (in fact two copies) of the order of service are attached.

For those watching the recording printing a copy would be useful – the ‘booklet’ version should be printed double sided and when folded will be the order of service. If that’s a problem the other version will print so that you have the content. Having your bible to hand might also be good.

Next Jean Corfield will be leading the service in the church building, and the on line service will be a joint one with Christchurch, St.George’s and St John’s Ashley Green. I’ll send the link towards the end of the week.

And you may be interested in this week’s Bucks Free Press newspaper which has an article on St. John’s to mark 120 years since it opened!

With prayers and best wishes to you all. Take care

Tim and Fionnagh

Tues 13th July: Community Association AGM

The Bellingdon & Asheridge Community Association AGM will be held on 13th July at 8pm. Unfortunately due to continuing restrictions it will be held on zoom again.

Please let us know (contact@bellingdon.com) if you’d like to attend and we’ll send you the link in advance.

Every adult resident of Bellingdon & Asheridge is entitled to vote at the meeting, there’s no obligation to get involved (turning up doesn’t mean you’ll get lumbered with organising next year’s fete; unless you want to of course!) and its your annual opportunity to find out what BAACA has been doing, both to maintain and improve the hall and to foster a sense of community.

BYO drinks and nibbles!
