Great turnout for pub night and afternoon tea

Big thanks to everyone who supported our events this weekend – pub night was heaving and everyone enjoyed a choice of steak and mushroom or fish pie followed by fruit crumble.

And we had a super turnout (and lovely weather!) for our inaugural “afternoon tea” in the hall. Inaugural in recent times, anyway. We were priviledged to have the wonderful Liz Warren present to show us a selection of her photos from her recent three-month trip to Nepal with Raleigh International. We hope to have more about Liz’s trip in the next newsletter.

We’re hoping to hold something similar in the future – perhaps quarterly – to ensure the hall is being used for its primary purpose: as a community venue.

A fantastic spread provided by our wonderful village bakers.
